Gabriele Parente (Late 19th-to Mid 20th Century): Nude Boy with Wine Jug (Bronze)

*
Aukionshaus Ursula Nusser, Munchen, DE has listed a small bronze of a nude boy holding a wine bottle by the Italian sculptress Gabriele Parente (?) who was active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Unfortunately there is not much biographic information on her out there but I am always eager to list works by women who were active in the 19th century, not only for their wonderful talent but for their bravery in breaking into that bastion of male chauvinism, the Academie during the late 19th century. She was obviously influenced by the works of Gemito Vincenzo (1852-1929) in her subject matter and execution.
